Anchors Aweigh!

Anchors Aweigh is a delightful traditional music & storytelling, and thoroughly entertaining show. It is always booked up at show time so we bought our tickets early in the morning and still arrived almost two hours before the show began! Of course we had choice seats and got to know the others in the audience who also came early. The performers are four local guys with loads of talent who have been performing in Rocky Horbour for 12 years. They have quite a following -everyone we talked to before we left on our trip made a point of saying that this show should not be missed. They were all right! We had a great time. They sang traditional Newfoundland, Irish, English songs. They even did a segment on what it would have been like if Led Zepplin or the Who had sung these songs. Their stories were hilarious and their upbeat manner kept everyone enthused for over three hours!
